MISSION STATEMENT

The office of the Chapter 13 Trustee, as a support system to the
U.S. Bankruptcy Court, provides professional and efficient
administrative services to debtors, creditors and their counsel

For cases filed on or after July 1, 2015, the exemptions allow under O.C.G.A. § 44-13-100(a)(6)
increased to $1200.00, plus any unused amount to the homestead exemption, not to exceed
$10,000.00, in any property.

For cases filed on or after May 2, 2012, the residential real estate exemptions allowed
under O.C.G.A. § 44-13-100(a)(1) increased to $21,500.00 for individual debtors and to
$43,000.00 if title to the property used for the exemption is in one of two spouses who is a debtor.
